Sexual Health Counselling
I want to be a safe place for people. Whether you're struggling with desire, sexual functioning, pain during sex, relationship challenges or the impact of trauma, you don't have to navigate it alone. Specialized counselling for sexual and pelvic pain disorders, erectile dysfunction, changes in desire and libido and a space to explore the impacts of cancer, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum periods. Also our sexual health also interacts with other issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma.
ART Therapy
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. And this is done quickly, most often within one session! Once the negative images have been replaced by positive ones, the triggers will be gone. Nightmares and repeated intrusive thoughts will stop.

Hello! I'm Annabel. I'm glad you're here. I want to welcome you and commend you for taking care of this important aspect of your life and health. Research often tells us that people are hesitant to discuss their sexual health - I want to reduce any embarrassment or shame. I am open to discussing any concern and want to be a safe place for you to talk about any issue. Whether it's erectile dysfunction, sexual or pelvic pain disorders, changes in desire, previous trauma or changes experienced with hormonal changes, cancer or infertility and pregnancy/postpartum periods. I want to be helpful for whatever your concern is.
I have a post graduate certificate in sex therapy and my Sexual Health Expert Accreditation. I am a Clinical Social Worker in Calgary and can offer supports online in Alberta or in person in Calgary (office is located in Brentwood).
